UBS, a key player in the worldwide finance industry ordered Montages to deliver a solution to handle the complex and growing documentation of business decisions and requirements in the credit risk data environment.

Based on the broad experience in Model Driven Software Development, Montages designs and integrates a solution based on a model-driven documentation repository and migrates the existing document artefacts to it. The solution will support end-to-end traceability from business requirements as well as the devolution of the responsibilities for maintaining the documentation of the mapping from systems and products.

This project will allow the business to better understand the relations between responsibilities, business decisions, requirement and products. The IT side will be able to better control the different versions of code and at least to automate testing of business rules in the future.

Montages provides a team of experts working closely together with the business and IT specialists of UBS. They follow the formalized approach to solution development (solutioning) based on the industry-standard Unified Process (UP) and Montages' Automated Modeling Architecture (MAMA).
This Model-Driven Solutioning (TM, the voyant group) approach allows Montages to quickly translate business requirements into formalized models which can then be used to design and ultimately generate working systems with supporting tool configurations, structured documentation, and other required artifacts. This approach simultaneously improves the quality of solution deliverables, reduces development and change time and costs, and provides traceability from requirements to the delivered solutions.
